What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Alongside cookies there are other local storage mechanisms — localStorage and sessionStorage — which work similarly but stay in the browser and are never sent to a server.
This site barely uses cookies at all. Everything stored is local storage, intended to remember your preferences rather than to track you.
Exactly what is stored in your browser
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
tk-picks | sessionStorage · essential | Remembers which services you ticked in the catalogue so the list travels with you to the contact page | Cleared when you close the tab |
tk-consent | localStorage · essential | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner so we do not ask again on every page | 12 months |
tk-a11y | localStorage · essential | Remembers the accessibility settings you chose — text size, contrast and so on | 12 months |
All three are considered essential to the operation of the site and to preserving your preferences. They do not identify you personally, are never sent to our server, and are not used for advertising.
Analytics and advertising cookies
As at the last-updated date at the top of this page, this site has no analytics, measurement or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel and no third-party tracking.
If we add such a tool in future it will load only after you agree in the banner, and the table above will be updated accordingly. Until you agree, the tool is not loaded at all.
External services
Tapping a WhatsApp button takes you to WhatsApp, an external service with its own privacy policy. We do not embed third-party widgets, external fonts or embedded maps on this site.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time using , or the link at the foot of every page.
You can also clear local storage directly in your browser, usually under Settings → Privacy and security → Browsing data. Note that clearing it will also reset your accessibility settings.
If you decline
Nothing bad happens. The site works fully without consent — we simply will not remember your accessibility settings or your catalogue ticks between pages.
