In short

This website does not collect information about you. There is no form that posts to a server, no database and no user account. The form on the site simply composes a message that you send yourself over WhatsApp or email.

Personal information reaches us only when you contact us, and only to the extent needed to provide the service.

Who is responsible

Clinton Delport, Osek Patur (VAT-exempt dealer) No. 346415870, Greater Tel Aviv, Israel. For any privacy matter: iamtechnikal@gmail.com.

What is collected

On the site itself: nothing. No analytics, no social pixels, no tracking cookies. The only thing stored is local storage in your own browser, which never reaches us — see the cookie policy.

When you contact us: your name, phone number, town, sometimes an email address, and your description of the fault — as you provided them. These reach us through WhatsApp, email or a phone call.

During the service: details of the equipment and the fault, what was done, and technical information needed for the repair. For business customers, also contact details and system layout.

For accounting: billing details and receipts, as required by law.

What we do not do

  • We do not copy, read or keep personal files from your computer
  • We do not store passwords. A password created during a visit is written down for you and not kept by us
  • We do not sell, rent or pass information to third parties for marketing
  • We do not profile you and make no automated decisions
  • We do not send marketing messages without explicit consent, in line with section 30A of the Communications Law

What it is used for

  • To come back to you with a quote and arrange a time
  • To carry out the work you booked
  • To honour the guarantee and follow up on the same fault
  • To issue a receipt and meet our reporting obligations
  • To answer follow-up questions after the visit

The legal basis is performance of our contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and your consent — as applicable.

Remote support

Remote support runs over a standard screen-sharing tool, and only after you approve and start the connection yourself. You see the screen throughout and can disconnect at any moment.

We do not connect to your computer without your knowledge, and we do not leave remote-access software running after the work is finished unless you specifically asked us to.

Who it is shared with

Only where necessary, and only as far as needed:

  • Our accountant and the tax authorities, for invoicing and reporting
  • A parts supplier or external laboratory when a hardware repair is required — equipment details only
  • The cloud or email provider we use to manage correspondence
  • A competent authority, where there is a legal obligation to disclose

Some service providers operate outside Israel. Where that is the case, we choose providers that maintain an accepted standard of data protection.

How long it is kept

Correspondence and job records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and for the warranty period, then for a reasonable further period to handle repeat enquiries. Accounting records are kept for seven years as required by law.

An enquiry that does not turn into work is deleted within a reasonable time.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The devices we use are password-protected and encrypted, and access to information is limited to those who need it for the work.

No security measure is perfect and we cannot promise absolute protection. If a reportable security incident occurs, we will act in accordance with the law.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations, you may:

  • Review the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date
  • Ask us to delete information, subject to retention duties in law
  • Withdraw consent you have given, at any time
  • Complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority

To exercise any of these: iamtechnikal@gmail.com. We reply within a reasonable time and in any event within 30 days.

Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. A booking for a minor should be made by a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the way we work changes — for example if we later add a measurement tool to the site. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.

This document is written in plain language. It is not legal advice. Where anything here conflicts with the law, the law prevails.
